This is my special rich yet light cream cheese mousse icing or frosting. It can be used for many things including cake filling, icing for muffins, cup cakes, pastries, etc. It's fast and easy to make and everyone will rave about the taste!

1 pound cream cheese
2 cups powder sugar
3 cups heavy whipping cream
4 to 5 big tablespoons of powder sugar
Stand mixer or hand mixer (paddle head & whipping head)
Step by step instructions:
1. Make your whipping cream first. Please refer to my video on how to make fresh whipping cream. Make sure to refrigerate while we make the rest.
2. Take your room temperature cream cheese and add the powder sugar to it and with the paddle head mix them in your mixing bowl. I suggest cutting the cream cheese into smaller pieces so it mixes well with the powder sugar.
3. Now combine your cream cheese and whipping cream together in your mixer with the whipping head. Mix for 30 seconds or until well incorporated. Your cream cheese mousse icing is now ready to use. Refrigerate until you are ready to use it.
